When you visit a doctor or other healthcare professional after a car accident, it is extremely important that you tell that person everything about your medical condition because if it’s not in the chart, it never happened. If you have preexisting conditions, prior surgeries, even if you think they have nothing to do with your car accident, it’s imperative that you tell your doctor about each and every condition, not only that you suffer from now, but that you’ve suffered from in the past.
