In addition to being Board Certified as a specialist in civil trial law, both Mr. Vocelle and Mr. Berg have been Board Certified as specialists in business litigation by the Florida Bar. The firm has handled hundreds of disputes involving partnership disputes, contract disputes, fraud and misrepresentation in a business context, partnership break ups, shareholder dissolutions and other business and commercial disputes.
Construction Litigation:
The firm has handled hundreds of construction disputes between homeowners, condominium owners, subcontractors, general contractors and developers. This firm was successful in negotiating an extremely favorable settlement for one of the largest condominium defect cases in the history of Indian River County after two (2) years of intensive litigation. Both Mr. Berg and Mr. Vocelle have handled hundreds of construction disputes.
Insurance Coverage Litigation:
Insurance companies often wrongfully deny coverage to individuals and businesses. A sub-specialty of Mr. Vocelle’s practice includes representing individuals and business against insurance companies who have wrongfully denied coverage to them for various reasons. Florida Law provides that in these types of cases, if an insurance company has wrongfully denied coverage and loses at trial, the insurance company must pay the firm’s fees and costs.
