Paul Berg

Mr. Berg has achieved the rare distinction of having been double Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in both civil trial law and business trial law.  Certification is the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in a specialized area of law.

He graduated from Florida State University in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and received his Law Degree, with Honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 1991.  While in law school, he was awarded an internship with Chief Justice Raymond Ehrlich of the Florida Supreme Court.  He is a life-long resident of St. Lucie County and routinely handles cases in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Brevard Counties.

Mr. Berg is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, the Litigation Section and Forum on the Construction Industry of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, St. Lucie County Bar Association and is the President-Elect of the Indian River County Bar Association.

Mr. Berg served on the Statewide Judicial Nominating Committee for Judges of Compensation Claims from 1994-2000 and served as its Chairman in 1998.  He also served on the Florida Bar Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee from 2000 to 2004.

Mr. Berg is admitted to all Florida State Courts as well as all United States Federal District Courts in Florida.

Mr. Berg concentrates his practice in Civil Litigation with an emphasis on wrongful death, serious injury, complex civil business and construction litigation cases.  He has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases including wrongful death, brain injury, shareholders derivative actions and construction related issues.
